Expertise: business analysis, process optimization and project management

Your function?

As IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in a company’s IT department, which includes managing teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. Your main duties will include coordinating production releases and roll-outs, delegating tasks to the necessary team members and presenting on projects’ progress and results.

Your work will be based mainly on 3 pillars of analysis, namely: business analysis, process optimization and project management. Some of an IT Project Manager’s day-to-day duties include:

  • Setting project goals, coming up with plans to meet those goals and measure progress
  • Maintaining project timeframes, budgeting estimates and creating status reports
  • Coordinating project team members and developing individual responsibilities
  • Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budget
  • Using project management tools to track project performance and schedules
  • Conducting business analysis and research to identify key metrics and opportunities for improvement
  • Providing functional analysis and business processes modeling
  • Conducting risk assessments for projects
  • Being responsible for the successful production releases, as well as the quality of the solution and related deliverables
  • Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients

Your skills?

  • In-depth computer skills and knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration. IT background / coding skills is a plus.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as IT Project Manager
  • Experience in software project management, ideally web and/or mobile
  • You are trustworthy and have a high level of passion and integrity
  • Leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
  • Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
  • Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
  • Experience in managing data / machine learning projects is a plus
  • You are fluent in French, and you have professional skills in English, any other language is a plus
