Inside Sagacify

Our Lunch & Learn sessions are simple: a moment to share knowledge, test ideas, and learn from each other over lunch

🍜 Last Thursday marked the first one of the year.

Sven Wauters and Nathanaël Mariaule explored the Tiny Recursive Model TRM, a compact architecture built on iterative self correction, showing how specialised models can deliver strong reasoning on targeted tasks while remaining lightweight and cost-efficient enough to run locally.

Baptiste Lacasse presented MailFlow, Sagacify’s agentic email workflow solution, combining sentiment analysis, attachment understanding, business rules, orchestration, and human validation to support operational decision making without fully automating communication.

The discussion focused on the realities of production AI: cost control, reliability, interface design, and where humans stay in the loop 💡

A strong start to the year, with plenty of ideas to explore next 🚀

Today, we took a break to celebrate the King's Cake because some traditions are just too good to skip.

The celebration had two clear winners: congratulations to Olivier Cuypers and Jérôme Marchal for finding the fèves and earning their crowns. 👑

A simple moment of cake, laughter, and good company — proof that the best workdays sometimes come with a little royal touch.

📚 Today at Sagacify, we hosted our very last Lunch & Learn of the year — and what a great session to close 2025.

Olivier Cuypers kicked things off with “MCP Server in Action”, followed by Leonardo Remondini, who presented a brand-new Notion structure to better organize our project documentation.

This revamped setup aims to help:

- Our sales team quickly find the most relevant use cases to enrich proposals and client analyses (by industry, technology, and business problem)

- Our ML team better document and track R&D work on emerging AI trends

🗣️ After the presentations, we opened the floor for a fully participative feedback session to understand the real needs of our teams — what’s working, what’s missing, and what would make our tools truly valuable, whether in Notion… or somewhere else.

All of this, of course, was enjoyed over a delicious lunch — a perfect blend of learning, collaboration, and good food!

Excited to see how these improvements will shape our work in 2026 🚀

🏎️ Team spirit at full speed!

The Sagacify crew met at BattleKart in Tour & Taxis for three adrenaline-packed races. Between tight turns, surprise overtakes, and plenty of laughs, we proved once again that we’re always engineered for fun 🧑🏻‍💻🏁

🥇 Congratulations to Dorian Fouvez, 🥈 Arnaud De Decker, and 🥉 Nathanaël Mariaule for racing into the top three spots on the podium during the prize ceremony.

We wrapped up the evening at Gare Maritime Food Market, enjoying different dishes from Asian to Mexican to burgers, you name it. The perfect pit stop after all the action.

At Sagacify, keeping team spirit alive means more than workshops and knowledge sharing sessions. We also make time to unwind, have fun, and strengthen the bonds that make us tighter as a team.

🏗️ On Tuesday, we were in Liège for our second AI training session with Embuild – The Belgian Construction Association.

Our experts led new hands-on workshops tailored for companies in the construction sector, exploring together the potential of artificial intelligence in their field.

Paws, pedals, and presentations, this offsite had range 🐾 🚴‍♂️ 🧠

Two days in Stavelot brought us clearer minds, stronger legs, and at least one new team favourite: Stella, the hotel dog, who quickly stole the show (& everyone’s hearts).

Our offsite at Woodster Hotel in Stavelot blended everything we love: engaging workshops, incredible food, and just the right amount of chaos. From e-biking through rocky forest trails to spontaneous pool dips, chilling around the campfire, and late-night board games with a very open bar… it was the kind of team building that actually builds something.

A big thank you to Joana Schmitz and Marlys Boulan for the flawless organisation, and to Jérôme Marchal, whose great eye gave us the beautiful photos we’re sharing here 📸 Proof that the vibes really were as good as we remember.

We might’ve left the forest behind, but we’re definitely bringing some of that Woodster energy back with us

🥟 Spring rolls, sharp minds, and spicy insights, our latest Lunch & Learn session hit all the right notes.

Powered by Knees to chin and some seriously brainy colleagues, it was one of those sessions where you leave smarter and hungrier for more.

Here’s what we devoured (literally and intellectually):

- BambooHR Pro – Marlys Boulan shared new features: built-in AI support, smoother workflows, transparent pay, and more ways to stay connected.
- AI Act decoded – Lucie Navez de Lamotte and Joana Schmitz broke down what the regulation means for us, how it overlaps with GDPR, and how to stay one step ahead.
- Multi-Agent Systems – Nikita de Broux served a crisp overview of MAS architecture and when it’s worth going beyond a single-agent setup.
- AI for hospitals – Killian Gemoets wrapped it up with a live demo of a conversational assistant designed to help medical staff get fast, secure answers, just by asking.

Turns out, nothing pairs better with spring rolls than regulation breakdowns and multi-agent logic. 😋💡

A cozy Beer & Cheese evening 🍺🧀

Yesterday’s team get-together was more than just a thank-you dinner, it was a moment to unwind and celebrate our collective efforts in supporting talent .

From the incredible cheese boards by La Patte Noire to the tasty éclairs from La Suite Gourmande, everything was spot on. And let’s just say… things got surprisingly competitive once the board games came out. 🎲😄

Everyone went home with full hearts, happy bellies — and their very own Sagacify bottle as a small reminder of the evening.

Huge thanks to Joana Schmitz and Marlys Boulan for putting this together a big success and a great moment for the whole team!

A big thank you to all the participants of Tuesday’s One Day at Sagacify !

It was a pleasure to welcome such a motivated group of students for an afternoon of insightful presentations, discovery, and conversation.

Our Sagacifians shared a look behind the scenes at what we do, the values we stand for, and the projects that drive us — from machine learning to developers projects, and beyond.

The day was filled with enriching exchanges between students and the team, leaving us inspired by the next generation of tech talent.

Looking forward to seeing where your journey takes you — and hope AI will play a part in it!
